Ways to make money from your property..
Number Uno : Register as a shoot location with The Location Guys!
Did you know that your most treasured asset, on which you have spent most of your hard earned income, could be making you money in return?
Hours and hours of choosing the right wall colours, the perfect kitchen cabinets, and the oh so many flooring options, not to mention getting the furnishings and artwork right – all to create the most stylish abode, to the envy of all of your friends.
All of this effort can’t end there, right!?
You are right! If you have a beautiful property that you feel could be a shoot location, then we urge you to get in touch. You could be making ££££’s each and every week!
Being a shoot location can be fun and financially rewarding, but not all homes will make the cut. Our portfolio is specifically centred around inspirational property, with the odd ‘unusual’ location thrown in for good measure.
We look for things like: spacious living areas, large kitchens with good natural light, and a hob in the island is always a bonus! Hard floors is a basic requirement for most hires, so if your home has a different carpet in each room, then it’s likely not going to be very popular. A good bathroom is a regular request, and things like a freestanding or roll-top bath. Off street parking is desirable but not essential. You should be open to allowing clients to paint and decorate – on the understanding that all will be returned as found.
It costs nothing to get in touch to discuss your home, and it’s potential as a shoot location. All we need are some photographs initially to get an idea of the property (iPhone images are fine).
Being represented by a reputable agency takes the worry out of allowing people into your home. We look after all of the legalities and the insurances etc, and co-ordinate all of the appointments and negotiations.
